The Large Attic Suite

  • The largest and most impressive of our rooms (just wait until you see the ‘before and after!’), the Large Attic (Mansarda Mare) is a very spacious open-plan loft apartment. It features a complete kitchen, large dining table and seating area with plenty of storage and a television. There is a wooden ‘nest’ bedroom complete with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Above this bedroom is a small loft with a bed (150cm) that can sleep 2 cosily or 1 more comfortably which has a special ‘secret view’ of one of Brasov’s hidden historical gems.) A small second bathroom completes this apartment. Large Velux windows throughout offer superb views of the surrounding Carpathian hills. The original ceramic floor and beams have been restored and reconditioned. Windows are double glazed ensuring a peaceful stay and there is air conditioning for the warmer months. This larger space is ideal for those looking for a unique stay in the centre of Brasov with plenty of space for working or enjoying among friends. Available for longer stays, please contact us for more information.

Apartment Madalina

Living room with a brick accent wall, white couch, coffee table, dining table with six chairs, window with curtains, and decorative framed art.
  • Probably the most modern of our spaces, Apartment Madalina is a one bedroom apartment ideal for digital nomads or slightly longer stays (but not only!) for up to 2 people. It has a large living area with a long table and 6 chairs, suitable for dining and/or working. A spacious bathroom with a bathtub (and washer/dryer) as well as a fully-equipped separate kitchen complete this apartment. It is on the raised ground floor further along the courtyard with a private entrance, ensuring plenty of quiet and privacy. Everything has been newly renovated in this apartment (although we did find a beautiful brick wall we decided to keep exposed) including the floors and windows which are double-glazed. While new, the apartment was designed to mimic the older, more traditional rooms of the street-facing house. Available for longer stays, please contact us for more information.

The Cosy Attic

Living room with beige sofa, decorative pillows with deer motifs, throw blanket, wooden coffee table, brick floor, and a skylight in the ceiling.
  • The smaller of the two attics, our Cosy Attic (Mansarda Mica) is one of most popular rooms due to its cosiness and convenience of comprising two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite,) sleeping up to 4 people. It has an open-plan living space with a small complete kitchen and cosy living and dining area. Velux windows ensure plenty of light and its location facing local courtyards ensure plenty of privacy and quiet. If you are a taller guest, you may find some of the rooms (and showers!) on the smaller side - if you prefer more space, we suggest our other apartments. This apartment is equipped with air conditioning for the warmer months. Available for longer stays, please contact us for more information.

Casa Mica (the Small House)

Minimalist bedroom with a bed, white bedding, gray and teal headboard, wooden wall accent, skylight, and a large window with pleated blinds.
  • This is our version of a tiny house! It is a completely separate house from the other buildings, built against the wall of the neighbouring courtyard. Entering via a private entrance, you find a small (but complete!) kitchen, bathroom with shower, and small living area on the ground floor. Going up the steps, you enter into a 2-room bedroom area, complete with one 150cm cosy upholstered bed (behind glazed doors for privacy) as well as a loft bunk-bed area which can sleep another 2 cosily or 1 comfortably and plenty of closet space. For those who prefer to not use the bunk-bed, there is a 150cm sofa bed just underneath. While this apartment can sleep up to 4 and is a good fit for families with children, we suggest 3 guests for comfort. Plenty of windows, including Velux on the ceiling, ensure plenty of light in this cosy space and the bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. Everything has been newly renovated but like Apartment Madalina just opposite, the house was designed to complement its traditional neighbours. Available for longer stays, please contact us for more information.

All of our rooms are equipped with high-speed internet, hot water and heating. We provide fans for the warmer months for the studios and apartment Madalina. Thick walls and double glazing insulate these rooms from getting too hot in the summer. The attic apartments have air conditioning (and more fans!) as does the Casa Mica.
